People around the world are more connected to each other than ever before . Information and money flow more quickly than ever. Goods and services produces in one part of the world are increasingly availabale in all the parts of the world. Now, International travel is more frequent and international communication is a common place. This phenomena is termed or reffered as " GLOBALIZATION".
This concept can be traced to the phenomena of Nation States. In the distant past , there were just human communities, villages, or local areas with the developments in communication and economic activity, it has progressivley become much easier to move from the local to the regional and then from regional to the national level and finally accross nations .
Global Economic Integration
Globalizaztion is seen to be the world's " Super-Trend " over the next 15 years . The benefits will be unevenly distributed but there will be a much richer world.
According to " THE ECONOMIC TIMES" ( dated as Feb 2007 ) ; Most of this growth will be in Asia especially in China and India, driving Asia to displace the west over the next 15 years as the focus of global economic dynamism. The impact of that shift will be economic and political , pulling down D.C's attention away form Europe and the Middle East towards the emerging 21st century SuperPower.
